Food & beverage distribution

Your customers still email the order at 9pm. Fine.

Cafés, restaurants and venues send orders however they like: email, text, a PDF from their own system, a phone call at 6am. boXe turns every one of them into a picked, delivered, invoiced order without anyone retyping it.

Pick one, then watch it become an order.

Draft order

The draft appears here. A person confirms it; nothing commits itself.

A day at a food & beverage distribution business

The same loop. Your Prepare step.

  1. 01OrderThe Corner Deli sends it the way they always have. boXe drafts it; the office confirms it.
  2. 02PreparePick and pack against the delivery, with cold-chain and use-by on the line.
  3. 03DispatchIt lands on tomorrow's run from the template. Capacity and sequence update on the board.
  4. 04Deliver & proveThe driver signs in without a password, works through the stop, captures proof and counts returnables at the door.
  5. 05BillThe proof raises the invoice, on delivery or accumulated, and it posts to Xero.

What matters here

Three things built in from the start.

Cutoffs and delivery days that hold

Each customer has delivery days, windows and a cutoff. An order that lands after cutoff resolves to the next valid day with the reason shown, not silently bumped.

Standing orders, generated

The café that wants the same six trays every Tuesday gets them without anyone remembering. Variations and week-pauses are the exception, not a re-key.

Crates back, counted

Bread crates, produce trays, kegs. Every one out and back is a signed entry against the customer, and the balance is derived rather than typed over.

Release 3 A Food and beverage pack is on the roadmap as configuration on the same product. It is not shipped.

The question we ask first

“Do customers still send orders by email, text or PDF?”
